What does the short pass/ counter attack slider do? Like does it make them pass only when the player is close or does it make them pass more? I want my team to pass more/pass when a player starts to come toward them like Barcelona does. | 24/10/2012 04:08 |

Well, that's what most teams do ![]() If you want to play more of a passing game, use short passes. If you want to be a quick attacking team that gets many offsides, I would suggest counterattack |

try , min 0' use 10% pass min 15 use 25% pass min 30 use 50% pass min 45 use 60% pass min 60 use 75% pass min 75 use 90% pass then you'll see the different between each other, after that you can choose which one the best for you for next game. dont believe what u heard, just believe what you see on the sim. Well i would say going short passes does a tiki taka style... pass here and there and move... But LOng balls are done by more counte attacks... Defenders Pass Directly to Attackers by long balls | 24/10/2012 10:42 |

Well I thought that short passes means tiki taka like football as well but it seems that counter attack=long passes and it seems that short passes=short passes not more passes. From what I've seen on the sim, the player holds on to the ball until he gets very close to another player and then only passes it. Edited by themadhatter 25-10-2012 02:10 |

Imagine each player has a circle around them, when you go towards short passing it gets smaller and vica versa. Whenever someone comes into the circle then you player will consider him available to pass to. He probably wont pass until he comes under presure though. If you play a short passing game, then your players need to be close together on the field. |
