Yes, that is my thesis. I proposed it originally in this thread, and now based on my experiences and others' experiences, I'm pretty confident its true. Some PL mates propsed that Strength plays a part - I think that's true also. Most defenders accrue strength more quickly than attackers, or so it seems.

Anyone else care to weigh in? I'm also looking to understand if attacking midfielders are injured as frequently. Like a LIM basically playing as a LF- is the LIM injured at the same rate/frequency?

My RF that has been injured 3 times has 15 or so more strength points than my LF that's been injured twice, but that's a small sample size so it could be coincidence.

My LIM is essentially like a 3rd striker that plays a little further back, but he hasn't been injured this season.
