It should say something like This player has re-signed with x team on $5000 for 7 years or something

The salary will change at the start of next season or if you use GB to remove (R)

The others have pointed out the technical side of things, but i will tell you from the players perspective...

He will hate you... less money!!!, what the $%%. How would you like if your dad reduced your pocket money. Juniors are children, be nice and fair to them, they are the future of SM.

Ah spadey, hilarious as ever.

Remember once re-signed the (R) will stay until next season unless you remove the (R) with GBs. Advantage of resigning a junior on a lower salary is less weekly expenses and that the player cannot be hostiled at all. Remove the (R) and the new salary takes effect but you increase your chances of being hostiled as the release clause will be lower. Once the (R) is removed there is a waiting period to re-sign the player, 48 hours, in which the player is vulnerable to hostile.

Remove (R) to sell, or loan a player but do so wisely and quickly as good juniors are sought-after.

Cheers,

Plenty

The player hates low salary. Then why did he agree for this contract first of all. Even if he hates me after i resign with lower salary, he must look for opportunities in other teams i.e. he must be ready to get auctioned.

I'm confused with things like this in SM.

I also don't understand why a loaned player can't be temporarily promoted.

I'm having only 10 golden balls from the start of SM. What will happen if I remove (R) with 10 golden balls? Will the salary be the previous one or the new one? Can I temporarily promote him or put him into auction then? 06/11/2012 11:16
