Hi there,
A few questions about seating and building the stadium.
I have been improving my stadium and am now at a point where I will start canibalising the standing seat's.
Should I keep a few of these or just upgrade everything slowly but surely past standing to general?
Also the pricing structure.
I havn't played with it that much and wondering whether the strategy of keeping prices down to fill the seats is an optimal one.
Has anyone tried to up the prices and have a half empty stadium or is it better to have a full stadium.

If your 'upped' prices can compensate for the empty seats, then sure..why not. I have tried this in past and found that gradually the seat occupancy also catches up. The trick is to find the optimal price at which this economics work. 26/11/2012 09:20

thanks Protossis. I was wondering about this. I may try it for the remainder of the season. I have a almost full capacity and wondering whether raising ticket prices at the expense of having a full stadium is worth it. 26/11/2012 10:54

You may want to stop building your stadium. The ideal is usually seen as either 36/42/42/36 or 36/36/42/42.

At each division level, there is only a certain number of each seating level that will fill, so its likely that you may not be able to fill all your general seats. A stadium with no standing sections will not make as much money as an ideal stadium.

To answer your other question, regardless of my previous post,an optimally priced partially filled stadium can in fact make more than a full stadium. However, it is still better to have a good proportion of each type. 26/11/2012 12:21
