I agree. Risking low fitness for $250k a week is silly. |

To be clear...you are saying that playing games at 100 effort reduces fitness? | 11/12/2012 21:34 |

cmccourt said: theres mixed feelings about this. Yes it can be done ( having no or little physio but look at whats at stake: SM cup, League games and PL games. Are you going to participate in any of the three with full effort? If yes, then you may need a good physio. In my opinion. But You don't really need a very expensive phisio for that. If you hire one for a little less than 100 000 $ a week at the start of every season he does the job. Maybe You have to play Your first league game with less than 99 fitness, but before the big payday at the end of the week Your players' fitness should be fully restored and You can fire him again. This way the whole operation costs You just a little less than 200 000$ in total. And a physio of that quality You will easily find in time. After that I usually just hire a very cheap physio for a couple of Hundred bucks a week, just because I hate empty spaces. Edited by beachbernie 11-12-2012 22:20 |

In my opinion. physio doesnt give you stamina.stamina is gained via fitness which in turn can be gained by physio.like if you hav 99 fitness u gain 10stamina points,if 80 then u gain 8 and so on.so ur physio hs no direct effect on it.So once ur team gains 99 fitness he doesnt remains a necessity but becomes a luxury. Then its ur choice whether to keep him or not. |

Its not a luxury...its pointless. Once fitness is at 99, it will not decrease if training is done everyday. Well maybe not totally pointless. The only reason I would see to have a physio is if buy a player with zero fitness from a nonactive manager. |

Training isn't done every day. This is a silly discussion. We're talking about $250k here. |

We're talking about $250k here. training is done everyday(atleast by good managers). As @Sabrefan is saying,if u dont trrain your players everyday then it is the only way they can lose fitness.so in short once ur plrs have gained back 99 fitness and you give training for everyday(any position)then u cant lose any fitness and hence physio is useless then. |
