The problem is that any one of us on their own is too small a sample, it just becomes anecdotal. Like the team with 10 injured players, he could say what he has been doing and go, it's because i either do/ dont use my physio, play this tactic or that.

The only one that has been confirmed by rand is low fitness will give more injuries. http://en3.strikermanager.com/foros/hilo.php?id=284955

Fitness is affected by your physio and it would make sense if you're writting a football game to think physio and injuries, makes sense. But whether using him every day or not effects your injury rate, many people arent convinced by.

yes you're right.1 team is too small a sample.but thats something tht had to be shared so they themselves can check and confirm if right and correct if wrong.this logic abt injuries hs worked quite well for me as my injuries hav decreased martiginally if not considerably and only reason i can see is this as my physio does not work everyday and my pith accesory has remained same.

my same and main striker has been injured a godsmacking 4 times this season alone, and his fitness levels are always high. I have lost 3 out of four games in which he got injured. Once or twice in a season is understandable but 4 times for multiple weeks makes it very difficult to plan for. I cant have a back up for each and every position and having a back up for your star player is difficult as no one can replicate his performance unless you get a better player, which costs lot more money.

Am not liking it.

Id have to disagree with counter attacks for my team because most of the injuries i have had, came from weekend pl matches and its almost always a forward as well. I play pl matches with zero % on every thing. 13/12/2012 19:20

Have noticed when you play wit zero effort there is high chance of having injury most of my injuries comes from playing zero effort 13/12/2012 20:12

So we have

High effort causes injuries
Low effort causes injuries.

As i said anecdotal, non measured statistics will give you whatever answer you look for.

Cellog is dead against the idea, but it may be that using a physio every day lowers your injury rate by maybe 8 percent. In which case in the swirl of randomness you may never notice it.

Yep. The problem is that there is almost no way to recreate a situation in this game, every day players gain training, every day you tweak your formation or effort or lineup, so you can't say I get X more injuries when Y happens, because you can't recreate that scenario. If you did Z instead of X, maybe you would have had 3x the injuries.

There's always a lot of speculation about injuries, but until the devs say anything hard lined on how an injury happens we'll never know.
