Yes, i always use advance formation in every games. But this game will not be okay when someone got 30 offsides in game 19/01/2013 06:25

In your advanced formation, in the attacking third, don't keep your strikers far from the ball. (2 spaces at max) When you're in the defending third, I prefer to keep my mids below the mid line so they're not caught offside

Advanced formation. But any general formation will work if you do it correctly

In my last cup match there were 57 offsides: http://en.strikermanager.com/partido.php?id=11352056

And this even if I was prepared for my opponent's offside traps. Seems to be extremely hard to protect oneself from that astute strategy.

One and maybe only tactic against offside-trap strategy is FAST forwards, who takes the ball from your own side and runs through the enemy line all the way to the goal! 19/01/2013 09:35
