I think you've got a good base idea, it just needs a little work. Perhaps there could be a division 1-3 champions league, and a division 4-6 champions league or something to that effect. Or a division 1/2 tournament, a division 3/4 tournament, and a division 5/6 tournament. You could even do two tournaments a season, the SC as it is, and then a tournament that ran on Tuesdays once the SC went to 1 day a week. As someone mentioned though the biggest problem is that the amount of teams quadruples as you move down divisions. I think the thing I'd love to see with regards to tournaments is I'd like to see a way to organize a friendly tournament. Many people have tried to set them up, but they always seem so hard to get people to stay on track. If there was a way to set up a bracketed tournament with friendly days that would make Tuesdays and Thursdays much more fun. |
