Theres nothing more I'd like than a Star Junior...I Love the idea and like that they're named by top players in the game..... but... I aint gonna waste 50Gb bidding when I've got 20m quid to bid with...the only players getting these star juniors are the mega rich with 3bn to blow on them. How about putting them in a draw? You place you're 50 GB stake and turn it into a lottery? I'd have a go! |

The managers who get star players are the ones who have worked hard. out smarted everyone else. managed finances better than everyone and also the ones who makes the most of of the stars.. it would not be fair for the newer players to get the star players without putting in sufficient effort in the game.. the stars and their money is the result of the managers hard work |

I'm not saying the top players in this game haven't worked hard for what they've got..but you have to agree that under the present system teams below div2 need not apply. On a sweep stake system it would be exactly fair if a lower division team got the star junior...it's like a millionaire and a tramp buying a lottery ticket. Odds are equal... Of course I suspect anyone objecting to the idea will be the elite that have amassed billions in the bank account simply because they've played since the game was incepted....ehhh?? Bad Idea, if some new manager wins then auctions and receives around 3 billion that could seriously cause damage to the game if not spent right, I think it is fine the way it is, I also cannot afford any star player, I also can't afford a 90 average player it's just the way it is, 1 great thing about these star juniors is it removes a big amount of excessive money from circulation. |

Burning a hole in yer pocket ehh boys?? I think you used the wrong analogy with the lottery tickets. Compare buying the star junior to an expensive car. The hard working businessman who worked his way up is eligible to buy this car compared to a poor hobo. Having a star should be based on merit. In almost any game, all the good features are earned by the people who have spent time and effort to acquire them. If a newer manager were to buy a junior, 1) Would he have the knowledge and resources to correctly train that player? 2) If he sold that player on auction for absurd amounts of money, would that not give him an unfair advantage? I am objecting to this idea. I am not elite, but I am only a manager in division 5. I view having a star as something to earn through effort in this game, not from some lucky draw. I know it's rather frustrating that stars are mostly for higher division managers, but those managers who have buy them deserve them due to their hard work. You also need to remember that those elites have probably billions of dollars that are ever accumulating which is why people complain due to the inflated economy of SM. These stars are one way to curb the inflation and suck out the vast amounts of money the higher division managers have. |

The best part about star juniors is, once they are sold, alot of money will be out of the game. |
