Why is the DFM always running behind the defenders (LDF,CDF,RDF) in the defensive phase of the play although I am positioning him in front of the defensive line? I have noticed that if I position him 2 slots in front of the defensive line, he remains in front of the defenders, however, if I place him one slot in front of the defensive line, he is running behind it... why is that? Would be grateful if anyone could explain me if its just a bug or is it meant to be like that? | 11/02/2013 18:41 |

I've noticed this too! But I used my DFM as a CDF, and kept playing a spot back from the xDF's. I found this very weird. Anyone with an answer? | 11/02/2013 18:48 |

Move your Lines in Tactics menu. DFMs are mids so if you dont want the DFMs to move to high up move the mid Yellow Line closer or below the mid field. | 11/02/2013 20:05 |

Alright, it makes sense, I have tried that as well but with no great results unfortunately... One thing though, my DFM moves too low, not too high up... so logically I should more the mid yellow line higher up. I have tried that, I have my line above the midfield, but the DFM still moves below my defenders ... | 11/02/2013 20:12 |

Also remember that doing that will make your other mids move higher |
