I have two strikers.. a CF and a LF both are age 17 avg 58.. Individual stats are also similar for both of them. Would they play in a similar way in the sim. I remember reading somewhere that CFs are somewhat slower but more accurate than LFs/RFs. Trying to understand how both would play in similar conditions. Any ideas?? |

I'm sure I've heard the same thing - LF/RFs are faster, CFs are more accurate. As far as I'm aware, the recent sim changes made strikers more accurate, but it also made defenders faster, so you can imagine a case for both types of forward. I have found RF/LF to be more effective to me over the seasons, but perhaps this is something more specific to my team setup or against lower-league opponents. I have found them to be faster, and have usually had a high enough number of opportunities to overcome a possible lack of accuracy. Looking at the two players you mention, your LF has a better shot and more speed than the CF, and a pretty high accuracy, so he would be my choice! |

My leagues's top scorer, by a long way, is a LM! Of the other 9, we have 4 CF, 3 RF, 2 LF. Hardly conclusive! |

CF more accurate when shoot at center. LF/RF will be accurate, if they shoot form LF/RF channel. so depend on their position when shooting. but that only one thing, out there many variables influenced. but for me, i will choose OM rather than LF/RF/CF as goal scorer. |

nve is that confirmed? i will need to re-arrange my formation if it is. but i will wait for a @ to confirm this. you would think that the same % means they have the same shot accuracy from anywhere in penalty area. |
