Im one of those managers that like to experiment a lot with diffrent formations, and tactics. Hower it is a problem when i have to wait until every training match to make changes, i wish that there was a option to have a internal training match, senior vs junior, say a 30 min match, where i could try out different tactics each day and check out how good they work, instead of having to wait several days to check out a few tactics, and se how they work against spesific tactics. I think it would be a great tactical benefit if you could study your opponents past matches (know you can do this now) and then you try to copy the formation and have a internal match to se what tactic would suit you best against your opponent. Could also add a new scout to help se the tactics opponent use, (spying on games scout like in real fotball) i know it probably never will become a reality but it would add much more reality to the tactic and game preperation, and also to find the correct formation and tactics you wish to use. Just a though of what i personaly hope will come in the future updates for this exelent game Rameses keep on gaming my fellow managers :9 |

I wouldn't mind training matches. Zero income but you can play a match against yourself. As in your senior team plays against itself but with 2 different formations. This would be handy as the advanced formation screen doesn't fully represent the sim. Probably will never happen though. | 22/02/2013 15:00 |

excactly my thoughts you can do your best to make a formation in advanced tactics but you never know untill you actualy play a match if you have made a good one or if you have made your defence wide open | 22/02/2013 15:02 |

Yea, I've often wished for that myself. Do running games add a significant load to SM's server though? |

Surely your senior team would win against your junior team every time and your not playing against a proper opponent so I'm not sure how much a manager could learn from this, although I have seen A teams vs B teams on console manager games, where you could choose each line up and you could equal the teams average's if you wanted to which would be more beneficial or play a good team against a poor average team but I don't see much point in doing that. The best way to test your tactics and formations is in friendly games or PL games, also studying your opponent by watching his games to see how he plays will help greatly, a good manager will always study his opponent and adapt where need be. | 22/02/2013 22:59 |

I, personally, like a scout idea. It'd be cool to have a scout go on a search and scout out your next opponent to show their weaknesses & strengths in their team, formation, & tactics. +1 | 22/02/2013 23:16 |

I think the developers will be happy to implement this if they can charge 5 ~ 10 GB per practice match. The number of practice matches a player can play per day should also be limited so that the server doesn't crash. | 23/02/2013 01:00 |

Rameses said: It is a good idea but I believe there are enough tools in the game to cope without it, e.g. we play 7 games a week, one a day and I don't know if it's even possible to implement something like this into this game.westy p said: Surely your senior team would win against your junior team every time and your not playing against a proper opponent so I'm not sure how much a manager could learn from this, although I have seen A teams vs B teams on console manager games, where you could choose each line up and you could equal the teams average's if you wanted to which would be more beneficial or play a good team against a poor average team but I don't see much point in doing that.
