Hi, Should o trade spots with this system bot team? http://en.strikermanager.com/inicio.php?accion=/equipo.php%3Fid%3D82705 Just to be sure... the only thing that changes is the league and position correct ? i keep everything. It doesn't seem like i will promote if i stay in my current league, but this team is in relegation and not sure if i will be able to save. |

Others would disagree with what I'm about to tell you and some may agree fully, It's your decision but, seeing how you are not advancing out of div 5 anyways, I would take the offer, go into div 4 and get the extra stadium cash. You will be relegated at the end of season back to DiV 5 if you swap. Yes you keep everything, you just switch division and spot in leader board with bot. Edited by cmccourt 28-02-2013 14:37 |

After evaluating your chances in Div 5 and Div 4, I'd say go for it. You have a slight chance in your group to promote and an even smaller chance of beating relegation in div 4. I would say have a look at the system bots upcoming games, along with your 2 best contenders for the relegation battle. I think both are very weak and if you have good tactics can beat them both out of the "safe" spot. Then focus on next season's run in Div 4. I'll say this, it's a game and your Div 5 battle seems a bit dull, take on the Div 4 guys and show 'em what you're made of. Sounds far more exciting to me. I'd agree with what both have said, you've got a tough road to get promotion this season, but you may well be able to fight out of relegation. Like Plenty said, look at your remaining opponents, if they're all in the upper half of the board it might be hard, but if there are a lot of lower teams it might not be that hard to stick around. The only thing is you need your accessories if you don't already have them. | 28/02/2013 15:24 |

Don't forget about stadium accessories. If moving up a division it behoove you to upgrade the accessories or be fined. | 28/02/2013 15:58 |

So not to go off topic here, kind of but, if you take promotion is there no window of time to buy accessories? Like in this case. If this manager takes promo to div 4 he will have to buy stadium access right away or does he have 10 days to get them. I ask because it would be great if he could take the promo and not have to do upgrades. Season over in what 4 weeks approx.? | 28/02/2013 16:10 |

I had nine days the only time I took early promotion. Hes going to have to build them and then maintain them all next season with lower revenue if he ends up getting relegated. He has a pretty strong squad so he may be able to stay up but it will be close. Edited by @sabrefan62 28-02-2013 16:16 |

I believe the accessories are required immediately in this case. It's beyond the 40? Or so days at the start of the season. It's on topic and valid - the manager will be paying more for accessories per week, plus the initial cost, and he may end up relegating. So is the temp cash influx of higher ticket revenue offset by the ongoing costs? Having div 4 accessories while playing in div 5 seems bad. Not to mention any game in the first 7? Or so days while the accessories are built will be fined at 40 or so percent. |

I have a feeling he would need the accessories straight away, at this stage in the season, and if so, his revenue would be halved. Can someone clarify this? If you need the accessories straight away - I would remain in Div 5. You may also have accepted a bonus for a top-whatever finish, which would be lost, so you can deduct this from the potentially higher Div 4 earnings, too, before any sanctions. If you think you can save this team from relegation, then it is worth it, if not, then the way I see it you will lose money. Edited by sicox86 28-02-2013 16:20 |

I think they only take 5 days, so he'd really only take a minimal hit (not sure if accessory fines happen on PL days). However, you're right about the division 4 accessory cost in division 5, it would suck, and thinking about it, it probably puts him in a bit more of a tough spot. Edited by @illex 28-02-2013 16:28 |
