I have 5 Million. I see a player at auction for 1Million. I just wanted to know the maximum bid of the current auction leader. So I tried using 2 Million for maximum bid. After coming to know that I took the auction lead, I couldn't invest the whole 5 Million on that player for maximum bid. I could invest only 3 Million. Why is it like that? My previous maximum bid gets returned to me but I couldn't invest the money on that player. Why is it so? Edited by wittyprakash 12-03-2013 19:54 Edited by wittyprakash 12-03-2013 19:55 |

Because you've already got 2 million tied up in a player, that player just so happens to be the player you're bidding on. You have to either wait to be outbid, or next time set your max bid to the max you're willing to spend. | 12/03/2013 19:57 |

Is that the auction system rule? If not it can be made in a more convenient way. Say we can overbid even 10000K on a 2Million current bid if the current auction leader is same. The overbid gets added to the existing bid. | 12/03/2013 20:03 |

Initially I didn't want to. I changed my mind later after knowing the opponent's bid. | 12/03/2013 20:21 |

^ ya.. This is also a case. It'll be good if we can overbid our own bid with any cost | 12/03/2013 23:23 |
