aleph44 said: edit - in reply to sanyam. yup. but it would be easy to sacrifice your B-team in a particular match if it meant the opposing team was missing players in a crucial game against a fellow PL member. anyway, i've said my bit. it's not like it will get implemented anyway Edited by aleph44 16-04-2013 17:05 this is a possibility.. but a very rare one.. the goods are much higher than the bads.. |

I think that this is already evident through a couple of mediums; the Pepe Method and the Netherlands Method. Firstly, you can train individual players to be intrinsically aggressive. By increasing the aggressiveness attribute you can create players who are more willing to tackle, even if they are unsuccessful. This is the Pepe version of player aggression. On the flip side, you can adjust your tactics to play more aggressively or more conservatively. This is done by adjusting your "Defence Meter" on the tactics page. By playing more more "Man-to-Man" you allow your players more freedom to abandon your formation and tackle the opposition. By playing more "Zonal", you limit your players mobility and confine them more strictly to the paramaters of your advanced formation. This is the Netherlands Method of team aggression. By combining these two functions, I think we see what you are proposing has already been in the game to a large degree. Beyond that, I must say, I really do like the idea of having different types of referees. This creates a more realistic game as it adds more variability and preparation...I am always a fan of favouring the teams that do tactical work over the teams that win by average. I think this would combine quite nicely with the "varying weather conditions" proposal made earlier this week. Edited by Heidstra 17-04-2013 07:53 |
