Can someone explain to me the logic of not being able to temporary promote a loaned junior in the same way I could one of my own juniors? Thanks in advance for any responses. |

Thanks for your response. Well I'm not sure, but I don't think his age is the reason, but that the manager only loaned him to be trained and not used is more likely. Of course I ask as I do not know the answer, so I stand to be corrected. Edited by sicox86 18-04-2013 17:56 |

Unfortunately, I think the only person to respond has confused temporary promote with early promotion. Any more experienced managers know the answer to the original question? Edited by sicox86 19-04-2013 08:20 |

Again, thanks for taking the time to respond. I was wondering if I was missing something, perhaps to do with motivation drop caused by injuries, or if like Baddest boss said, perhaps it could be simply that it wasn't part of the deal to temp promote the junior, and that I don't have the right to. |

Another reason is that it could result in a senior squad having more than 3 loaned players (assuming they've taken on three senior loans). A temp promoted junior (or two) would make 4 or 5 loaned players in the senior squad at a given time. Edited by @sabrefan62 19-04-2013 14:18 |

That makes sense, I knew there had to be some reason behind it. It would still be nice to improve our loaned in players' training performance through temp promoting, but I totally get why that wouldn't be allowed. Thanks! |
