I have a youth player with amazing progression. Hes 16 and already 61 avg, when I hired him last season he was 46. The thing is the youth coach is now saying he's ready to be promoted. Would that slow down his progression? | 27/04/2013 09:49 |

Nope. it wont. players always get automatic promotion under these conditions. 17yrz with 50avg, 16yrz with 60avg, 15yrz with 70avg,... | 27/04/2013 10:44 |

As long as he shows a yellow "p" he won't be hurt by promotion. You don't have to promote him if you'd prefer to keep him in your junior squad; for example, if you don't train that position in your senior squad and you don't need him this season, keep him in the junior squad so he continues to train. | 27/04/2013 14:17 |

His progression won't be hurt until the red P, like @sabre was saying. However, his motivation could be lowered by playing on your senior squad, if he's not a starter. That motivation level does more than anything to effect his training. So if you're not going to start him on the senior squad, you may want to wait. | 27/04/2013 14:38 |
