i can't comprehend this anymore, how can some one play me offsides in my own half? My strikers are just at just at the midline and referee says offside, it's really TERRIBLE!!! Pls!!!!!!!!!! The offsides are bugged! Do some thing, quick! 29/04/2013 21:21

Do you have examples? Because I've never seen an own half offside, they're always called correct, people just don't see them correctly. 29/04/2013 21:45

yeah replay your clip in slow mo

this time b4 u press play click left mouse button on the pitch and drag it to the half way line
now when u press play u will be able to see the half way line in centre and it wont move = easy to see that u were very slightly off

its easy to fix - just pull the offending player back one square - in this game u have to build an attack, unless u have amazing dribblers i suggest u try to play a 25% short passing game or maybe try putting wide players 1 square inside your half (1 in from edge, played right on edge players just dribble into touch), then u can dribble up wings and cut inside or cross

bear in mind players prefer to pass to most attacking player available so keep your strikers behind or level with ball to avoid off side vs teams playing heavy offside trap

again these are my opinions be glad to hear others

left pic shows how wide i want your wingers/ wide mids

centre shows u how to align players for ease of passing - players dont pass so well on the diagonal, also dfms placed behind ball stand good chance of clearing up lose ball if your wing is tackled

right shows where your right winger will cross to your cf - leave your wing out of box and he will alway cross or u can ask him to take ball into box

I watched 60 minutes of your game. There were three instances of offside in your half (22', 51', 58'). In all three cases, your player was in the attacking half when the ball was kicked, hence he was called offside.

You also have some issues with your formation. Your attackers that take the ball from center get no support from the other forwards. They all hang back by the center line. I saw quite a few instances of a winger taking the ball up the side of the pitch with no support in the center for a pass.
