That looks like a solid training schedule to me.

Under the FAQs section of the forum there is a thread called "The Training Table" (sorry, I am on my BlackBerry and can't link to it). That will show you what training benefits which attributes for each position. Check that out.

I usually have a 7 day training schedule. That way I can train the most important subject twice every seven days instead of every eight days. But I know others work off an eight day plan as well. The bottom line is to look at your players and see what they need the most and alter your training to reflect that.

I think at some point you may want to add corner kicks. It only trains leadership though so it's not great. The schedule you listed is perfect though as it trains the main attributes like speed and technique etc. But at some point if you want to max their potential you'll probably need corner kicks. 20/06/2013 15:51

I prefer to schedule a random training nd not concentrate on a particular position or player cos I am training a team and not a player. 20/06/2013 22:21

You can do what you want...but 99% of the managers at division 3 and up would totally disagree with you.

Because by doing random trainings, you'll end up with a bunch of mediocre players.

For example, train defense every day and you'll end up with a lot of great defenders. You can then use your money to focus on buying forwards. If you train a little defense, a little forward, a little GK, etc., you'll end up with a bunch of players in the 50s.
