I just dont know why fullbacks are the most useless position on SM...RB and LB,they are just good for nothing....probably the devs can cancel them or improve on them for God's sake, defense is one of the most important aspect of the game...just imagine a 75ave LB will just be going around a forward doing nothing just running after him, while a 65ave LDF will take them down at once.....am getting tired of them, thats why most teams dont use them, then if they are useless, remove them, thanks. | 29/06/2013 02:55 |

Obviously they're not bad if akleb uses them and he's in div 1... | 29/06/2013 02:59 |

They're far from useless. They take more time to train technique though, from what I gather. Clearances and Tackling affect L/R DFs more than L/R Backs, but the tradeoff is faster speed growth with L/RB and faster leadership growth via Corner Kicks (the merit of the leadership attribute is another discussion). Again, they're far from useless. My 85/20 LB is pretty good, I can usually get him to play at a very high in-game level, just like a LDF would. Plus they are usually cheaper than L/R DFs. Soo yeah, not so useless at all. |

LB/RB can be very good players (hence aklebs). I find that the difficulty with them is their training. They take a very specific schedule which forces a trainer to focus entirely on them. They also take much longer to train to a level where they equate the stats of a LDF/RDF. I think this leads to a minimal representation of them because they become poor investments in comparison to other positions. | 29/06/2013 08:47 |

I believe it is all how you use them. I don't see what would be the difference between full trained full back and L/RDFs... | 29/06/2013 11:04 |
