i will rather advice you to train only midfielders due to the high quantity of them, and for you to get a good average players you need to focus on only one position. The training schedule for midfielders are: ball control2* running with the ball2* ball control2* and sprint1*

Ball control4*, try again

Standard for midfielders is ball control, in depth passing, running, sprint, shots on goal, tackling etc. check them out on the training screen to see how much they train,

Or here http://en.strikermanager.com/foros/hilo.php?id=281772

That shows what training trains certain position and they are in order of overall gain, biggest gain at top lowest gain at bottom

Arrange it however you prefer, I used to have in depth passing x1 ball control x2 running x1 tackling x1 shots on goal x1 and that was for RIM/LIM/IM

and for LM/RM I swapped running and tackling for in depth passing and sprint but it is totally upto you

Like @eam said, DFMs can do well - some combination of Passing, Running, Ball Control, and Tackling. But to properly train the DFM you'll need to train with defenders also - Clearances is key.

OMs are goofy - they can train well w/mids - Passing, Running, Shots on Goal. But then they can't Dribble, so you'll need to pair them with Wings and/or Forwards for Dribbling & Beating Markers. Or I suppose CDFs and Running w/the Ball, but that isn't very efficient.

For LM/RM, you can train them together with LIM/RIM/IM, except for speed. So, you can train Shots (Shots on goal), Dribbling (Ball-Control), and Pass (In-Depth Passing) together, but LM/RM need Sprint whereas LIM/RIM/IM need Running. So sometimes LM/RM are trained with wingers 04/07/2013 20:37

And ball steal is difference between LIM/RIM and LM/RM

if you train LM/RM with wingers they will only gain speed and finishing, you will still need to train with midfield sooner or later
