First I read your post and laughed. I laughed because last season I LOST to the Iron Empress in striker cup and I had bought GBs.  so kind of ironic to be asking especially since (you) beanwalker20 , are a very good manager. so no disrespect The only advantage I can see of having GBs that makes the game different for everyone is the ability to forecast players which allows for players to be sold faster and in some cases for more money. Other than that.. I understand being able to upgrade staff faster an stadium but those things can be achieved w/o GB. I also think that this far in the game, having it be season 11 with alot of changes over the years, the best way to improve without gb is training juniors well into 85+ average and promoting to senior squad..don't sell for profit try to get those high loans and train those juniors. (You seem to be doing this so it means that it will take you just a bit more time) Then you need luck, and strategy. Good luck bean. |

Though i reached the quarter final of striker cup last season, but i think i hav a bit of luck, winning on penalty twice.
