I have been searching through the rules, but cannot find anywhere that tells me how many substitutions I am allowed to make during a regular league game. What is the maximum you are allowed?
Also, how many are you allowed to make during a private league game? I assume it's the same as in a regular league game.
And while I'm on this subject, what about during a friendly game?

Thanks.
For my private league game yesterday, it let me set up 4 substitutions in advances tactics, but if only 3 are allowed, I assume 1 of them didn't happen.
Say, for example, I set up to do 3 subs at the start of the 2nd half, and a further 1 sub after 75mins, would it then just disregard the sub at 75mins?

It would disregard it. Once three subs have been introduced, whichever sub you fixed for a later time or period in the game would not come in. 21/07/2013 23:18

Thought as much.
Thanks for the answer

I have another related question.
If you, say, swap 2 players already on the pitch, for example if I switched my RF and my CF, I'm assuming (and hoping) that it wouldn't count as a substitution.
In fact, is it actually possible to do this anyway?

It is possible but not by substituting them, you would need to have a 2nd formation where CF and RF are playing in others position and use advanced tactics to switch to this formation during the match, just make sure that if you change formation during a match that the positional numbers match up,

What I mean is in first formation if RF is number 10 then he should be number 10 in 2nd formation too, and the same for all players

There are times where i sub 3 players before 60th minutes then i got a player injured before 70th minutes, no more subs allowed, and i got to play with 10men for the remaining duration of the game! 22/07/2013 12:50

happens to me all the time, its the risk you take when you use all your subs although its not like the sim would sub on the right player to replace him anyway lol 22/07/2013 13:05
