i think last season Hazard was the better player, but Kagawa didn't get to play enough. hopefully by the end of this season we will know who truly is better. 24/07/2013 23:35

I just feel Kagawa doesn't fit into United's system in my opinion. He is either forced to play as a second striker which he's good at, a winger whose job is to stretch play and lay crosses, or play lower in midfield.

I would say he is adept at the SS spot, but playing as a winger whose main job is to cut to the byline and put in a cross is not his style of play. United's midfield is so on on the defensive aspects with having the likes of Jones, Carrick, and Scholes - more defensive orientated players so Kagawa sticks out like a sore thumb. He's better off at SS or CAM to get the best out of him.

Hazard on the otherhand, has the ability to interchange with Mata and Oscar so they're more fluid in attacking which gives him the versatility factor.

Either way, we have not seen Kagawa get a full season in United has he was injured for a part of it. I really rate him though.
