 So I am only in div 6, but have been playing long enough to think that catering isn't worth the time/money.

I upgraded the catering to level 2 and unlocked the queue line. After spending all day starting more food/drinks I make about 140,000 per game, which is pretty good, but seems unrealistic and feels like a waste of time.

If I was bringing in more money then I could see the benefit, but that's just not the case.

 There have been a lot of discussions about catering. Some feel its worth, but many do not. At its best, you can make about $350k to $400k profit per day, but it takes a lot of clicks to do that.

Im personally on the fence about it. I go for a while doing it and then get bored and don't do it for a while.

 That just doesn't seem like it's worth it. If that's with a level 5 catering and in the top leagues then that is probably 1% of the profit they make for the week. Just doesn't seem worth the time at that point...

mind u if u dont spend 75 gbs on production it is alot of clicks

You make 400K of revenue?...if so more likely about 100-150K of profit.

 i am so sorry - big mistake - mixed up catering and store /o\ - i get 400k for store each day lev 2 (profit)

so my catering is lev 2 (only fried rice still not unlocked), 3 logs to do queue /day

 Why is it that we can not prepare different stuff at a time, it will be nice if we could prepare all the stuff at a time. Because if we should look at it from a different perspective in catering there is supposed to be division of labor where some caterers take care of the wine production, some do the same for the nuts and the same thing apply to soda.  There is not much profit in catering, and you would order everything at once in real life. It is annoying that it takes so long ,and it just seems to make life more difficult for people new to the game. I feel i have to do it for the money. The mass production does help a little, but i think even that could be better e.g prepare everything you want.

Is it possible to recoup the money back if you upgrade to level 5, i am on level 2 and i make about 400k per game. I dont think i have recouped my money from upgrading to level 2 yet. The cost of production taken from my 400k then i would guess at about 250k profit per game. 		05/08/2013 12:07

 catering is useless.unless you have tons of GBs never waste them on catering.
