It's very common to find names that don't exactly fit with a countries naming system. They're generated from a set of first and last names (that's why you could probably make an entire team of brazilians with the same exact name) the names were probably purchased from some sort of video game naming database, or the database was created by someone at Uplay. Either way you've got a database of somewhat accurate and somewhat inaccurate names. This is probably the last thing on the mind of anyone at uplay, or a lot of people who play the game, it's just part of the game. |
