Well in tactic players are not doing what I would like them to do and I find it very unclear how to tune that up.

What are those yellow arrows around the ball, why when i pull a player up arrow disappear and player is on the same spot again,

why if I try to pull the defense line up and midfield don i get invalid tactic ?

Are the up and down arrow for phase of attack and defense but then what are the left and right one ?

Can anyone point to the tutorial or explain please...

Thanks

Thanks but it doesn't , it basically says to move the ball around the pitch and set players formation but its
pretty importation to set it depending who has the possession of the ball that's what those yellow arrows around ball should
be right ?

Thats why I opened the topic because it says at the end advanced tutorial will be made when bugs are fixed but the post is from 2011
and I was wondering if its written because I cant find it.

When I try to use arrows everything changes, in some cases when i move players it just removes arrows and pressing the arrows again
all gets back to unset.

Then i get invalid tactic in some cases when i push lines up...

Its not very clear to me and I suspect also to many of other players

Thanks anyway

never noticed the arrow before...after reading this post i test it out...

from what i can see, the arrow is like a COPY tool...so the 4 arrows represent 4 nearby pre-determined players positions that you can apply/copy paste to the current position (the one that you're editing)...so far, that's what i understand from these 4 arrows...

so let say you click on the left arrow...whatever players arrangement had been set when the ball was one box to the left of this current box that you're editing, will be copied to the current box...same for other 3 arrows....

however, the arrow is just a tool...it's like people who use mouse VS people who use hotkeys on keyboard...how you do it doesn't matter...the important thing is you get what you want...

PS: sorry about my english...i hope people understand what i'm explaining...

That is exactly what the arrows do, just copy formations from one box to another.
