Substitute
I watched my game yesterday and belive I have a better sid ebut seems that when I play against a weaker side and they are pushig their players into my half I am permenantly offside. The worst is that my players are even offside within their own half so I can't get out. On the odd occasion I was onside I would gain a few meters on the backline but then I would be overtaken so I just couldn't get away. If this is the case I may as well push my line up as high as possible. Not even sure how they manged to push the line up so high. 10/09/2013 13:44

Put all your players behind the ball on your advanced formation. 10/09/2013 22:25

The only time that players are called offside in your own half is when they are in the attacking half when the ball is kicked.

In your advanced formation, make sure your forwards never cross the center line when the ball is in your half. I've found it helps to keep them one position below the center line in your advanced formation. That will help stop them from wandering over the center line too much.

This then compacts my formation down really tight and I think that I will still get caught half way into the other teams half. So basically I have to spread my team out in th emiddle of the pitch and then let them spread out forward? 11/09/2013 07:26
