Cup draw is completely random, I believe. Many teams may not even have an opponent in round 1 as there aren't enough teams to fill the first round of the bracket evenly. Look on the bright side; you'll get $6 million for playing at a div 3 stadium - that's good money. Some teams look to fall out of the cup early so as to focus on league promotion, so you're far from insured of defeat.  |
