Why is it that a particular player keeps on getting injured very frequently? One of my player injures himself in every alternate game. This has happened now thrice. Any attribute to check to see the injury potential of a player? |

There are a few theories on injuries. Some include effort levels- high effort vs low effort = the low effort manager's players having a higher injury risk. Some argue strength - a low-strength player being tackled frequently by a high strength player affects the injury risk. Some say its completely random (which is a false theory, in my opinion). My theory is age-based (and I do believe the first two reasons above are valid too). A few seasons ago, when my Dutch LF and RF were 17/18 and on my senior team, they were injured once a week, at least. No exaggeration. Thus my RF received the name "Glass Cannon". I think age plays a part, or at least it did for my team. I will say maybe it's a combination of two - age + the number of times tackled. Rarely have I lost a mid or defender (knock on wood...), but my forwards were in the doctors office daily it seems. |
