If I substitute my captain during a game, does the player who replaces him take over the captaincy? For example, if I temp promote a player who plays in the same position as my usual captain, and the temp promoted players captaincy rating is 0, is it safe to leave him named as captain, and when I sub him after 15mins for my usual player in that position, he will take over as captain? |

in a word, no the effects of captaincy have never been proven, and therefore its hard to tell what happens if you substituted yours during a game. The effect, if there is one, is definitely minimal, so i wouldnt worry about it |
