Two bugs I noticed in my match today that resulted in 2 goals against and a subsequent loss. -GK dives the opposite direction of the very long distance shot that stops in the middle of the box. As GK tries to return to the ball (at this point, no opposing player has even entered the box yet), the GK gets beat to the ball by the CDF, who in turn dribbles the ball about 3 meters into own goal. -During substitution of my DFM, as player is crossing the sideline, free kick begins for opponent. Free kick resulted in a single pass to open player located where DFM has yet to have a chance to enter into game. Opponent walks right in to score. Lost 2-1. |

For the first goal it looks to me that your CDF tried to dribble it out and the opposing striker put it in. For the second goal, it has happened to me as well. I have often thought that the substitution animation should just be removed - a player gets instantly exchanged with another player. No running on and off. That would prevent players being caught out of position. Your defenders let you down in that one as well. |

I think what annoyed me the most on the first goal was the action of the GK on the initial kick by the other team. I can understand if the GK was a low avg player, but a 78 avg GK in my opinion should not be diving that far in the incorrect area when the ball is nowhere near that spot. With regard to the CDF, I'm ok with the fact that situations like that happen. Looks like my CDF was dribbling back, then either cleared off the opposing player or the opposing player hit it prior. I agree with you on the substitutions. I feel they should just be placed in their positional spot rather than animate their entry. My CDF definitely let me down, but I also have my defense set up with two DFM flanking the CDF in the middle. The pass ended up right at the vacated spot of the DFM that was substituted. |

My 76% avg GK does things like that as well. I just mentioned this in another thread, but I have to say it again... Goalies need the most help in the simulator. All players do things that make no sense sometimes (passing the ball to a player 3 pixels ahead to cause an offside for example) but GKs seem to be crossbred with headless chickens. Sprint out of the net when someone is on a breakaway and then turn around when they get close and run back into their goal. |
