For jr squad player re-sign him. For seniors only way is increase his release clause by increasing salary. That way if he HC u, make sure u gain from it | 27/11/2013 18:28 |

For Eric Van Dijk it is too late. He is no longer your player. To prevent this make sure you are paying a high enough wage that nobody would want to pay the release clause on your senior players and as mentioned, resign your juniors. | 27/11/2013 18:33 |

If he has already paid the release clause and you have received notice, there is nothing you can do. You can choose to hang onto the player until the 24 hr period is up if for some reason you need the player to play a match during that time period, or you can allow the transfer to go though immediately - but you cannot stop the transfer now. You can prevent future hostile clauses by resigning jr's. The (R) will appear next to the jr and they are protected until a week after the start of the next season or until you choose "remove (R)." At the start of each season all of the (R) are removed automatically and you must resign your jr's to prevent hostiles. For senior players you can never foreclose the possibility of a hostile clause. You can make it economically undesirable for other managers by raising the salary of the player which raises the release clause. Check the similar transactions for your players and set the release clause above what the market rate it - but remember, as long as a manger as enough money they can hostile your players. You just need to make sure that you will get enough money that they either don't want to pay that much for the player or you can buy a better player for they pay for your player. |
