Is there a maximum number of formations that we have? 27/11/2013 20:26

It looks like a maximum of 10 advanced formations are allowed. 27/11/2013 20:34

That's annoying and it is annoying because of the way the system decreases the overall average for players in similar positions in the exact same formation. For example, if I play a 4-4-3 I should be able to interchange wingers and forwards on the outside 1 and 3 positions. I can't.

I have to build two exact same formations, all of the exact same movements behind the ball on the field, but one with wingers and one with forwards.

But I am limited to 10 formations.

You don't have to build both. Just build one then use the copy formation function on the bottom of the advanced formation screen and move the forwards to wingers. 27/11/2013 20:58

So I can just put the forwards/wingers in the first spot and they will track the ball as they prior position did?

But I still have to save as a separate formation and we have a max of 10, yes?

If so, then the workaround is copy/switch/save every time I want to change the fwd/winger role...

Yes you are still limited to 10.

And yes, just copy the formation and move the forward to winger or vice versa. They'll keep all of the same movements, except for any difference in how wingers behave compared to forwards.

If you want to save your formations and you are out of space, you could export them and save the string of characters to a notepad file. If you then want to use it again, just take the string and import it.

i have an excel sheet on my google drive with about 40 formations on it, little description of what exactly the formation is too.

A few of them are a bit awful but they stay there too, i used to update it every time i won or lost with a formation too so they had win % in the description but that got a bit too much

I don't know why, but sometimes the notepad doesn't work, when I export and import copying the formation from the .txt, some strange movements happen, and also player's teleport (when I move the ball around the pitch there's a moment when a player dissapears and appears...).
Last time I used Open Office and didn't occur that
