so i got relegated to 4th div last season, last time i was inn 4th div i had a match day income of 9million+ now im just barely 6 million + while inn 3 div i had a match day income of 13 million + i lost over 50% of my income and 25 % less than last time i was inn 4th div? whats up with that? is that normal to lose that much cash inn income i would have expected it to be 9 million+ like i used to have inn 4th div before, any ideas on why this has happend? 30/12/2013 19:56

Have you lowered your ticket prices at all ? If you haven't, they are probably too high. If you have gbs, use the optimize button. 30/12/2013 20:04

It may take a few games. I am in the same division as last season - div 5 - and I noticed that my first league game of this season was lower revenue than my last league game of last season despite no change in ticket prices. So I lowered the prices below last season. 31/12/2013 00:30

lower division = lower revenue.

max revenue, for fully developed stadium. Usually 2 sections of 36k and 2 sections of 42k seats.
Keep in mind, stadium maintenance for 156k seats and full accessories = 6.5M/ week

Division 1 = 30-34M / game
Division 2 = 20-23M / game
Division 3 = 11-13M / game
Division 4 = 7-8.5M / game
Division 5 = 1-3M / game (108k seats)
4-5M / game (156k seats)
Division 6 = 1-3M / game (156k seats....which only happens on the way down and out)
200-500k / game (60k seats) (although this can be up to 1.5M if you've been in the game for 8 seasons)

By comparison, for English football

Avg attendance

Premiership = 35,700k
Championship = 17k
League One = 7k
League Two = 4400
Conference = 2200

With commensurate ticket price gaps to boot. So while the attendance figures aren't similar, the income gaps are very real.

To further the shocking attendance figures:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_attendance_figures_at_domestic_professional_sports_leagues

German handball pulls in higher avg attendance than League 2
US Indoor Lacrosse pulls in higher avg than League 1
Australian Cricket is apparently wildly popular and pulls in 14k/game

But the number 1 draw / game = NFL

Yes. Americans call that football.
