What about "junior stars" fow lower divisions with a lower FC and lower PG? Let's say PG 94-95, and FC 90-91. It's not a real "star", but it would be worth buying because of the progression. |

That would probably be the only way this would work, but then those players aren't much different than players that are on the market daily other than the star that adds a little to revenue. Personally I think it'd be fun if you got to name and keep your star and could never sell him or something to that effect, but then we'd have people going crazy spamming for achievements. |

Right, and many others have spent years training players and making moves on the market to be able to get their billions, so yes their work is also hard. There shouldn't be a reward for making the most money in X division. if you want a star next season keep working the market and get your bank account high enough so that you can win a star junior against the teams with 10 billion in the bank. |

For someone like me with 2 full seasons in SM, a star player never seems achievable, even if it were broken out by division. When I saw the post Ali made about GB's for start auction, I couldn't believe that someone in Div 5 had $1.5b to spend. How would I compete for a Div 4-5-6 or even div 5 only star player when I have less than $50m in div 5 and someone else has $1.5b? |

Here's a suggestion: You can only possess one star junior and one star senior at a time. |

a star player for lower division teams is not financially smart. Why spend 1-2bil to get 1 star, when you can spend 1-2 bill and get yourself 5-11 decent 80+avg players. |
