i don't understand something and i need an explanation if you want to bid for a player you see something like;bid and maximum bid that maximum bid what does it really mean | 18/02/2014 11:08 |

Maximum bid will allow you to put the highest amount you would pay for the player. The system will then automatically rebid for you until someone else sets a higher max bid. | 18/02/2014 13:11 |

so if you outbid another manager maximum bid all the money you have will be placed because yesterday i outbidded a manager maximum bid and i had just 5246000 i placed my maximum bid to be 5100000 then i got a message that says you have outbidded the ____team and i have no money again it was all 0 pound | 18/02/2014 13:32 |

nerryhandsome said: so if you outbid another manager maximum bid all the money you have will be placed because yesterday i outbidded a manager maximum bid and i had just 5246000 i placed my maximum bid to be 5100000 then i got a message that says you have outbidded the ____team and i have no money again it was all 0 pound you maximum bid all the money you had, your balance stays at 0 until either you get outbid or the auction ends any you win the system sends you messages when others bid within your max bid like for example auction starts from 0 on a player called john smith you bid 0 but with a max bid of 5mil someone else comes along we will call him team X and bids 10k (the next available amount to bid) with a max bid of 4million your tech dir. will send you 4 messages first one saying team X has outbid you for the player john smith the auction is now at 10k (his initial bid) 2nd one saying you have outbid team X for the player john smith the auction is now at 20k (you outbid his initial bid as you have a max bid in place) 3rd one saying team X has outbid you for the player john smith the auction is now at 4,000,000 (his max bid) 4th one saying you have outbid team X for the player john smith the auction is now at 4,010,000 ( as your max bid is above his the auction goes to the minimum amount above his max bid) |
