Try and upgrade your stadium in the first season of div5 to earn enough and a high revenue per home game and use that first season in div5 to know your rivals whereabout(in that league(group)).Then, the second season you will be strong enough to compete for the top2. | 27/02/2014 19:41 |

#1 keep your hands at the back of your head and chill like a Boss,cause Div.5 got Loads of Bots. #2 Get 70+ speed players to help the team i would say more defence. #3 Don't let youth team success or vice-versa get in your head. #4 Get a good staduim for Div.4 ain't easy at alllll #5 Be truthful; this is need when you wanna acquire loaned prospect, also try get a screen shot of your coaches...  #DazAll Jurgen Norbert Klopp |

The rest is just buying & selling. if you don't know how to do this, read the faq from point 5 onwards here http://en.strikermanager.com/foros/hilo.php?id=265474 once you know to set up an advanced formation, the next thing to do is make it effective. watch a bunch of games div 3 and above on full screen (the little green button when you are watching a match). you can also drag the view around. use this to see how people set their teams up, especially in defence. -tactics- once your formation is set up you can tweak using tactics. the Fwd, Mid and Def lines can be used to further adjust the positioning of your attack (red), midfield (yellow) and defence (green). tiny adjustments can make a big difference, so practice with different set ups and see what works best. then you have the 4 tactic sliders, effort, attack, play & defence. again, experiment with different set ups. tiny adjustments make a big difference with these too depending on where your players are set. Try and network with other managers at your level. start with your PL and make friends. then you can work out where to put your attack & defence together as you will all be playing against similar teams. experiment, experiment, experiment. find out where your defenders can catch opponents offside, find out how deep to sit your attackers so they can break your opponents offside trap. try deep defences, wide attackers etc etc etc. see what works best at your level with the current sim. different formations come in and go out of fashion as people work out how to exploit them. most of all remember that every manager in div 1 or div 2 was in div 6 at one point. the only way to get there is patience and tweaking. -coaches- find good coaches as soon as you can (90+ atleast) - http://en.strikermanager.com/foros/hilo.php?id=253299 -training juniors- first of all, if you haven't already, read this faq motivation - http://en.strikermanager.com/foros/hilo.php?id=317972 there is also a table here which shows what training works for each stat https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Ah_mRsFIHgwgdG85bnQxZ2kzc1ZiZlhLZkE4ekllMFE#gid=0 training juniors is so important I would almost recommend ignoring your senior team completely to begin with. to make money in the game you need to specialise your junior training. usually that means training 2 or 3 positions. I started out with a couple of good junior attackers so that's what I went for - LF/CF/RF. or you could go for LDF/CDF/RDF/DFM or mids or whatever. The main thing is to buy as high progression players in your chosen positions as soon as you can. play your best ones in the starting positions & subs which give the highest motivation. -temp promotions- Temp promotion is to promote a player from junior squad to senior squad for a period of 72 hours. - How many times a player can be temp promoted? A player can be temp promoted 2 times per season. - Advantage in temp promotion? A player is temp promoted to gain extra motivation. when a player is temp promoted, and he is put in starting line up, motivation for keeping the player in starting line up will be 100%. If you win that particular days match, motivation for win is 5%. Also player gets 3% motivation for accessory and 25% extra motivation. Total motivation adds up to 133%. Once the player returns to junior line up, Win, accessory and extra motivation is multiplied my 2 and this results in player having 166% motivation. 100 for being in starting 11, win 10(5*2), accessory 6 (3*2) and 50 extra (25*2). - when to temp promote? It is advisable to temp promote after Tuesdays game. Timing of temp promotion should be such that temp promoted player should return to junior squad only after playing Fridays league game Reason for this is: - In juniors player motivation is decided based on starting position in league games. i.e on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. - If you win you game on Friday, temp promoted player after returning to junior squad trains with motivation 166% until Mondays game is played. -stadium- again, there's a pretty decent faq here http://en.strikermanager.com/foros/hilo.php?id=276203 Basically, once you have filled your junior squad with the highest prog players you can afford, spend every last penny on your stadium. after you've done all that, then start investing in your senior team. everything gets much easier once you have good stadium and a conveyor belt of quality juniors bringing piles of cash in  [i have shamefully ripped some of this from other threads & faqs without asking, so thanks & sorry for stealing your hard work  ] |
