Hi Guys. I am in Div 6 and wondering if it is a good idea to start a school now. If so, 1) which nation and quality is good? 2) is there any revenue from selling the players from these schools? Is it much? |

You will make money from schools, but it may take you quite a while to do so. The best schools cost a lot of money up front and each week, which can cripple a new manager. You may not see these expenses returned for a season or two. I would advise you to continue working on your stadium and buying/selling players from the market until you reach a more financially stable point in your managerial career. | 02/03/2014 05:29 |

I built an excellent school in Uruguay last season. I keep track of every player that comes though and what his sales price has been. So far, I have not received a player above 78 prog and my profit from the school is a net loss of -$3.2m. The vast majority of posts in the forum's will tell you schools are not worth the cost. This will only increase as it seems the market is falling quite rapidly. yesterday I hostiled an 85 prog RIM age 15. I put on auction and advertised in the forum. Today the player sold for $0. Fortunately, I acquired the player for $0 because there was no team. I would advise against building a school until the market stabilizes. |

Judging by the players churning up in my schools for last 4 weeks, there is no money in schools. Unless you get very lucky. Just go to my schools and you can have any of my players. | 02/03/2014 14:22 |
