So today I lost against a team with much weaker players and with 100 players in attack on their side, with a 40-ish average keeper... Can someone please explain to me how the heck can't I score against such a keeper with 90-ish averaged forwards that are well trained for scoring? The ***** part is that with almost the same tactic I used to beat a lot of teams from div. 2... This game is ****!!! Well done developers for ruining a game that could've been awesome... This is the game, watch it, check the stats, and tell me why should we play the new game when the developers made such an accurate game... after lots and lots of years working on it. http://en.strikermanager.com/partido.php?id=15008644 No cursing Edited by @illex 31-03-2014 15:33 |

That you beat division 2 doesn't mean u will beat that team cus he might have a very good advanced formation | 31/03/2014 14:37 |

The thing with this game is that you can have a 99 average squad and still get beaten by a team with better tactics than you and a much lower team average. Which partially makes this game great, if every team won just based on their average, there would be no point in really playing. Average does play a big part in it when each team has good tactics, but it's not the only thing. Maybe that guy had his players placed just in the right spots that they were disrupting your attackers enough, or maybe his strikers were in positions that were confusing your defenders. Or maybe he just got really lucky. These things happen. The only way to really improve is to watch your game, look at where you went wrong, and see if it can be fixed in your formation. Play around with your formations for PL games, or even in league games, see what works, see what doesn't work. That is really the only way to win in this game. Also, no cursing on the forum. |

I didn't think that the word I used is considered a cursing word... Watch the game, and then tell me if he has such a genious tactic. And tell me this, how can a 40-ish average keeper manage to save so many shots coming from 90-ish average players with over 90 shot plus skills? Tell me that, please, cause right now, I think that having a keeper is useless in this game... |

m1shu I just have one question for you. Have you ever complained started a thread when you won a game against a much better or same level team due to a bug in the game or a bug that affected your opponent's game? I really do not think so. When people take wins due to some bug why cant they simply take a loss due to one. I know every point counts at the end but still. This is the same question I generally ask managers who complain about losing to below par teams and then curse the game / sim. |

I watched a bit of your game and here's what I saw 1. Your defensive positioning was a little out of sorts at times, it was easy for him to get behind your players and in on goal because you were chasing after him. 2. His defensive positioning was really good and he was in front of your players quite a bit, meaning they were blocked from taking quality shots when they were in front of goal 3. I saw at least 3 shots by your players from the left and right edges of the 18 yard box. Meaning you had at least a few bad quality shots. 4. akleb is right, GK average is only a small factor in your defensive prowess. I accidentally played with a 29 average GK on Friday and only conceded one goal, and that was clearly an error on the GK's part (the GK didn't get close to the ball. If GK average were important I would have conceded on almost every shot on goal the guy had. A low average GK can still hold his own with a decent defensive formation. Comparing your two teams I'd be willing to bet that over the course of the season you will finish better than him, and you might even beat him 4 out of 5 times, but he was still able to pull off a key win against you. If you're using the same tactic you used in Division 2 (2 seasons ago), you probably need to refresh some things as slight changes in the sim can cause formations to need tweaking. I was doing pretty well last season up until a certain point, then I started losing pretty bad, I figured out my problems and was able to fix them, and turn things around a little bit, but in the end it wasn't enough. You need to constantly make sure your formation is rock solid. |

Yes I did! Either in the league forum, or the private league one, and if I remember correctly I did this in the public ones too @lucifercave said: m1shu I just have one question for you.
