Or is it possible to have a junior from school with a higher progress rate than forecast?

Generally forecast is higher than progression. As you keep training the player the forecast gradually increases 1-2 points a season.

There are players with a higher progression rate than forecast, that may be due to lack of training.

Yes it does increase if you train the player every season. 08/04/2014 04:49

Progression is a fixed number, assuming a player isn't promoted early, or promoted when they have a red P, they will always keep the same progression. Forecast goes up or down depending on how well a player is trained. Generally speaking players right out of schools will have forecast 2-3 points above their progression (the higher the progression, the lower the gap), some players like IM and OM usually have slightly lower FC's than their prog initially. FC isn't really a super important number IMO, because if you train a player right his FC will increase. 08/04/2014 15:25

So the prog is more important than the FC.

Thanks for this info.
