this happens way too often I have noticed in some matches that when a free kick is won at midfield, the player who takes the kick often passes the ball back to defence. The pass, however, is not always a good one, resulting to conceding a goal because an attacking player steals the ball and goes one on one with the goalie. This can be very frustrating, especially when the goal comes at 92:20... I have recently lost a match because of this, but this is not the point. Sometimes the players just have to kick the ball away from the area, depending on the opponent and the result at that point of the match |
