Let me try analysing the game. Your opponent had more possession,which means he had more midfielders than you. He used 4-4-2 which is better in both attacking and defence. But with your 4-3-3 your defence was weak,and high attacking rate,but all the efforts of your front line to score was in vain,because of thd too much offsides your players made while his had none.His team had more shots on goal than yours,because of the numbers of midfielders. Let me add this,in striker midfielders win games,that is why many top managers prefer 3-5-1. In a nutshell he was better in tactics and formation. | 30/06/2014 18:50 |

Let's all just accept the current rankings and stop playing....or, we could try and improve our tactics and beat 'better' teams. Pick yourself up and try and fix what went wrong today. How did your opponent play? How did you play? Memorize the success of one style of play over another and do your best to find a style which fits your squad's competencies. Good luck. |
