What is happening these days? Market value is gettin worsen and worsen everyday. Managers who have spent so much effort to train players are getting smaller amount from it. strikermanager should not auction any players at the beginning of new season for at least 2-3 seasons so as to balance the market value. Poor market, great managers are loosing big time. 12/07/2014 13:22

Managers are used to seeing players selling for hunderds of millions in the past and expect the prices to stay sky high as long as they are selling players but that will never happen since the market is flooded with 75+ average players. You can get a 85+ average player for less than 250m since the supply is much more than the demand. When that happens managers tend to sell players at whatever price they get just to get rid of players or to earn quick cash. Managers who hold on to their players not willing to sell the players at those low prices often end up not selling them at all. 12/07/2014 15:01

At the start of each season we see lots of players who are out of contract, and quite a few are decent and they go for next to nothing. I think this has an effect on the market. Do out of contract bot players join the market, and if so could they not just be deleted instead. 12/07/2014 16:04

Substitute
No. We have less managers and more players w/ +avg. The games not getting adjusted to suit a few peoples need for higher profits. 12/07/2014 21:05

I would not delete out of contract players from active teams, just bot players.

It should be deleted because it is really hurting managers taking so much stress in training players to market their players due to players picked up at cheaper price at the beginning of season

I've been observing this too. I waited a month to sell my 81/22 LIM, spammed the market forum, pleaded to many people for transfer agreement. Settled for just 148m for him(and a div. 6 manager who offered me 5m once) even though he was 90FC and I was quite disappointed because I spent 4 seasons training him hard. Same with my LB who's in my reserves for a month now. He would definitely want out if he was a RL player but I can't get rid of him.
Starting auctions for all out of contract players from 0 should be avoided, that's my opinion though I am not sure how this will help market values. Errr...
