 I have a Junior GK on loan, I've never given him chance to ask for promotion since I brought him, he's always on loan. Now he is 18yrs without yellow P.

When he return next season, then 19yrs. So my questions are:

1. Would I have to wait for 24hrs for him to ask for promotion? or
2. I should promote him without the yellow P? If I do
3. Wont that reduce his average or progression?
As a 19yr old player next season I guess his progression would start reducing daily even before he ask for promotion. 		15/08/2014 16:52

 Since he doesn't have a P, chances are you might have to wait a day or two for the red P to appear, if that is the case then he won't be losing progression. Players don't lose prog because they turn 19, they lose it because that have a red P.

NEVER promote a player without a P (red or yellow), they will lose 15 prog.

If he comes back with a red P there are two scenarios:
1. He comes back with a red P and your scout has sent a message saying he feels low and wants a chance in the 1st team. If this happens he'll have lost 1 prog.
2. He comes back with a red P but no message from your scout. He needs to be promoted ASAP, but hasn't lost any prog.

I've never given the chance to ask. I always return him to loan at the beginning of each season.

Because he's been loaned too quick to get it every season. Juniors only get a P when they're on their actual team.

People have talked about trying that, I don't know if anyone was able to get it to actually happen, but in theory it could work. 		15/08/2014 18:00

People have talked about trying that, I don't know if anyone was able to get it to actually happen, but in theory it could work.

I wouldn't try that knowing it's just under probability. If it turn to be other way round, by the time he returns from loan he would be left with no progression point, maybe minus

You could try it with a junk player you use to fill out your squad in positions you don't train, see if it works.

Would require a junk player loaned right at the start of the season when turning 18 and again the season turning 19. And a willing lower division manager for the experiment.
