Go to the player, click contract, hire, put in the full amount of the release clause, click send. Note that the initial offer is 10% of the release clause so on full browser you need to advance the offer amount to the full release clause and on mobile just add a 0 at the end of the offer.

Not sure what your point is - he can hostile players now. All hostile night really is, is the end of the protection period. Once the protection period ends - i.e. hostile night - you can hostile for the rest of the season.

 You can. Just to put it right. Hostile night is something different (refer to vgates' comment). You can hostile players throughout the season. (Maybe you should have tried that then you won't need ask about it, there's no harm there).
