yeah its very possible because i watched the game and noticed my opponent moved his defence line to the middle. But my question is....why should my striker pass the ball to another player who is offside when he has the chance to shoot or move with the ball? if it is my tactics then please i need your ideas and opinion. thanks 06/10/2014 11:17

He's played the offside trap tactic.

This game is flawed in that people like to pass a lot rather than dribble the entire way, your opponent has taken advantage of this.

There's a very simple solution - you use advanced formation to move your strikers up with the ball, rather than make them in front of it - should mean that they don't stray too far offside when this does happen

Make sure none of your strikers in advanced formation are in front of the ball. This will eliminate much of your offsides althought not all. If your strikers are in a line and the defense gets the ball and uses counter attack, your strikers have to run back to where they are placed in advanced formation wherever the ball has ended up. If this is in your half and you get the ball back and pass up, your strikers can still be caught offsides. But this won't be the norm.
