Heya,

So i was looking the other day to youth players, and how some are like 81+ when they are still in the youth. Then i looked like mine, and i nearly fell to tears (not really but to make it sarcastic)... anyways... to make a long story short, here's the question:

Not to pick on any specific team, but here's an exemplar:

24 Sep 01:30 (team name) average: 81 (team name) 0 € Re-signing 25.283.900 €
25/06/2014 17:35 (Team name) average: 67 (team name) 0 € Re-signing 20.344.300 €
04/04/2014 21:40 (team name) average: 31 (team name) 0 € Re-signing 4.122.580

There are many more of these guys i saw, but lets say this guy is 'Bob'

How come Bob increased nearly double his average in just little over 2 months? Then again increases by another 14 in the next 2 months? So does this mean that any player can reach from 31 to 81 in about 4-5 months? Because i have this player ( Fred Campbell ) with an average of 47 (current age 16). Does this mean if i continue training him till he's like 18 he will emerge with 70-80+?

Thanks,

Ninja Smarti

Because those players are surely prog +70/+80, and they have a good coach (~99%). 08/10/2014 15:56

Buy high progression players, 85+ prog, and make sure your train your junior coach as high as possible. Try to find a youth coach in the mid to high 80's to start with and use course nor degree to train him up to 99%. 08/10/2014 16:53

So does that mean I might get halve (around 7) skills per month with a 55 coach on players?

And is there any other way to find their progression other than using Golden Balls, or does it have to do something with a player's versatility?

You can do + Searches with scout to hostile them, but there are lots of players in market nicknamed and with visible prog/FC, try getting some of those. Sometimes juniors don't have nickname neither visible prog but could be profitable (there are 70-80 prog guys like these).

And like PR99 is the best right? Does this mean, that no matter what coach, you will get to 99 (±2 orso)? Or are these PRxx numbers an indication for when using the best type of coach? 08/10/2014 18:11

No. If ypu have a 99 prog 95 FC player (for example), he won't never reach his peak. With a +80 coach he'll maybe get it.

Prog is constant and never changes other than when a player has a red p or is promoted early. forecast (the projected average) will change from one team to another depending on coach % and can change over time depending on age how well trained it is, etc.

The players that you see going from 30 average to 80 average in 3 months time are 80+ prog for sure with 90+ % coaches, and are usually young. Lower average good prog players train quickly and can jump up 10+ points in a month with solid training.

So going back to the example from above, with the 99 prog 95 FC player, his max potential is 99 but he will max reach 95 Center Forward player?

Edit:

So in this example, 99 means his max and 95 his prog?
