Got 3 questions (cause i'm bored and want to learn something about striker manager) ![]() 1: So about experience, i have 2 sub-questions regarding this. The first question i have is, do youth players get any experience what-so-ever while playing youth matches? And secondly: do all players get the same experience when playing a game, or is there a way/are there players who get more experience from playing a particular game than another one? 2: Is Versatility how quick a player can learn a new position or is it something else? I've read somewhere about this but i keep forgetting what it does :/ 3: What is formation rights? Is it how well he plays on his position, or is it a boost given to him when he plays his position? or does Versatility have to do with formation rights (that the higher a player's Versatility is, the quicker he will develop him formation rights?) Thanks, Ninja Smarti |

1a. no 1.b i'd like to know this too, I think ive read higher leadership stats and playing better than average means a player gains experience faster 2. http://en.strikermanager.com/foros/hilo.php?id=276205 3. http://en.strikermanager.com/foros/hilo.php?id=410028 |

How about when a youth player gets temporarily promoted, he still does get experience for playing in the main team right? Its strange cause i've seen some 22 year olds with like 4 skills, while some older guys have like only 2 :s | 10/10/2014 21:29 |

On the second point it all depends on how long the player was in the team. Some players/positions do pick up skills faster as well. There was a time when the best players in the game were under 70 average, which if you have a decent prog player isn't hard to get, so 16 year olds were getting yellow P's and getting promoted, so they'd be the first team starter and picked up skills very quickly. Others have waited (now you pretty much need a player in juniors till they're 19) or the player has been mostly a backup, so it's incredibly varied. |

A yellow P suggests temporary promotion, so you're suggesting in some cases it's better to keep them in the team until they're 19? But if you temporary promote a player, he will pick up the training of the main team for like 3 days right? (72 hours i believe). Main teams train better than youth teams right? so isn't it then still the case that it might be better sometimes to promote them and gain the experience rather than letting them stay in youth team till 19 y.o? | 10/10/2014 21:40 |

First team trainings affects temporary promoted juniors for 72 h (3 trainings), right. I personally prefer to keep them in juniors if they're in the starting 11, because they'll train every day with 100% motivation. If you promote them they won't play all the games (injuries, rotations...) and won't have 100% motivation every day. If he's in subs, and the player you want to promote has a decent level I'd promote him, because he could train 80% (sub) or 100% (starting, in PL leagues for example), and in juniors he would train only at 80% every day. You know as you said before some players are at age 22 but have more than 4 skills that is because maybe they got promoted at an early age (yellow P age 16-17-18) and been used a lot in temp. promote.. It is approximately 1-2 skills per season. MY ADVISE: what i like to do in my team is link my seniors and juniors training.. (veryyy beneficial) When players get temp. promoted they will have higher motivation % and you can try it.. so I temp. promote and let them play in initial line up at the same time the senior training will be for those juniors ( or can be for both senior and juniors at same time) BUT HERE'S THE TRICK!: You should temp. promote them exactly on Tuesday and after the time that your league games end (for example let's say that my league games are at 10:30 on MWF so I promote my juniors at 11:01 or any time after 11 but it has to be on Tuesday!) The juniors will train with max motivation with seniors and at the same time when they go back to juniors on Friday they will have an even higher motivation (mine is 166%) and will improve their training with juniors A LOT! Why is it important to temp promote on Tuesday after my match (11:01)? The juniors will go to juniors after the league game on Friday and their motivation will stay 166% on SATURDAY, SUNDAY, MONDAY because as you know junior motivation does not change on PL games. If you want you can keep the juniors on subs when temp. promote but it is important that they play in initial line up on Friday! |

Wow thanks, that's quite some explanation which i fully understand. So I'm understanding motivation corresponds to how well a player will train? | 11/10/2014 21:18 |

Yes if a player is out of position or on reserve he will have a very low motivation therefore he won't improve as much as other players on subs (80%) or in initial line up (100%) |
