Your take on the removal of advance export/import formation copying.

Seems i have been paying less attention here. What is the logical reason(s) that led to the removal of import/export in advance formation? Appreciate your replies. |

Well, at first they thought it would be very useful here as it was in ES. But then there were too many teams playing the same formation and tactics, the devs realized it would kill EN as well. Newbies get worked out formations from older managers and they kill their groups. They don't put in the same effort that many of the top teams do and that's what kills the excitement of playing this game. We also have quite a few managers around here who don't know how to set up OTs yet they have a formation with OTs. (That's just my observation, not a reason to the query)  |

Well i thought that is exactly what make the newbie to wana play this game more when an older manager help with a basic formation to counter the offside trap of this game, if you really know how the offside trap drives newbie managers crazy. If the removal is because friends give out formation, then it will not stop that from happening. They still can give the formation, it will only take a few more minutes than with the button. But then they deny the legitimate use of it to other managers. |

I dislike it, i feel like they've fallen into a trap of trying to make the game fairer by taking the fun out of it. Plus it affects players who don't have access to PC because it is difficult to make advanced tactics from phone. I think the problem is in thinking that here is the same as es, the fact is even if formation sharing is occurring here like there, I don't see anyone complaining about it... | 26/10/2014 02:42 |

Continious Losses makes the game boring and when that happens, the manager would want to quit the game but if that same manager is helped with a good formation that yields result, he would always want to play the game. At some point in a manager's career, help is needed. So if any way that is there reason for removing the Import/Export button, they should not expect newbie-veteran transition cos most newbie would not find the game amazing. | 26/10/2014 13:24 |

I kind of liked the idea of removing the feature. One of my reasons is, I like to create and set my own formations. Its more exciting when your creation yields good or satisfying results. And even if you lose a game, you can checkout the stats and tweak a few positions and improve your previous faults. Nothing better than learning from your own mistakes. I think that's what makes SM more exciting and that is the only reason why I'm still hanging around here. |
